Photo of the Day [POTD]: direction

When everything is going right, it feels great. But with just one word, things can go south very quickly.

Photo of the Day [POTD]: spiraling down

It’s broken and it can’t be fixed.

Photo of the Day [POTD]: patterns

You and I go together like two peas in a pod. I know your darkest secrets. You know me inside out. But there’s so much more to discover.

Photo of the Day [POTD]: in the wind

I had my doubts before today. But what happened last night seemed to have made thing better.

Photo of the Day [POTD]: harmony

You sang off key. I was out of tune. But we still made great music together.

Photo of the Day [POTD]: empty

I tried to stay and wait. But your empty promises left me wanting, doubting.

Photo of the Day [POTD]: countdown

The days have passed and the minutes have gone by. All this waiting has come to naught. My patience is wearing thin.

Photo of the Day [POTD]: closer

I’m not perfect. No one is. I’m also afraid. But I choose you.

Photo of the Day [POTD]: abrasion

Cold, calloused and numb. She walked away without saying a word. What is something I said?

Photo of the Day [POTD]: freedom?

There are some truths in life I refuse to believe. Maybe it’s your influence or prehaps my plain stubborness.

Photo of the Day [POTD]: irreconcileable

And there was the beginning of the end of us. It was bound to happen. We couldn’t weather the differences.

Photo of the Day [POTD]: identity crisis

Sometimes I feel like I don’t know who you really are.

Photo of the Day [POTD]: denial

Religion. Gender. Sexual Orientation. Political Views. Too short. Too fat. Wrong color. Different race. What else can we add?

Photo of the Day [POTD]: the things you think as precious

The odd thing about it is that we try to project that everything’s fine, and people perceive that we are. Nobody understands what we’re really going through, how ugly or hard it may be.

Photo of the Day [POTD]: inevitability

It’s basic human nature to fix things, make things right. To amend breaks and bridge divisions. To make sure that we are okay, that we’re good. And that through the challenges we gush out stronger and more prepared for what’s ahead.

Photo of the Day [POTD]: velvet ropes

The velvet rope between us: corded and veiled is the difference.

Photo of the Day [POTD]: pajamas

Oftentimes, we find comfort in the familiar.

Photo of the Day [POTD]: the schism between us

We create our own divisions, our own walls. We distance because of fear, because of ‘self’. Like cracks, they grow. Soon we find ourselves too far away.

happy friday the 13th.

Yehey! – Fish & Co.

Today, Yehey! in cooperation with Fish & Co. held a special blogger’s event for a few who were able to make it.

Bloggers were tasked to come up with variations on fish & Co’s hottest seller — their Fish & Chips. Grouped into four different nations (India, Malaysia, Japan and the US – Philadelphia), the bloggers set out to purchase necessary ingredients from the supermarket, rush back to the resto and plate their dishes.

We had a hard time deciding which group won, as all dishes were very uniquely prepared. But in the end, Group US – Philadelphia [comprised of Melo, Eric, Rowena, Eldelweiza and Mec] came out on top with their creation, Philly Fish Steak.

Thanks to everyone who made it to the event!

I trap myself in my world convincing me that its better. That its okay and that I don’t care. I pretend.

Photo of the Day [POTD]: different view

If we open our eyes to the infinite possibilities, we can begin to see things in a different light.

Photo of the Day [POTD]: waiting

On hot days like these, everyone needs a break in the shade.
