Why is it that we keep looking so far ahead? We sometimes tend to forget that what we are looking for is just actually around the corner.

I decided to fit my Lomo ColorSplash Flash on my Lumix, just to test the results.
While it has become a bit difficult to get the right exposure, the results are pretty fun to view. In essence, with the Lumix output of semi- vignetting and the color imbalance caused by the flash, the results are lomo-like.

A meal at Tito Del and Tita Che’s is always a challenge. A challenge not to eat too much. From the appetizers to the dessert, there is always food aplenty. Add some wine (okay, a lot) and you’re in for a bit of gluttonous debauchery. Intended or not. Of course, this is on a regular day. But last night was a bit different. Lisa and Jon are going back to Boston and are pregnant, there were a few birthdays to celebrate (from both the Aldaba-Lim and Lazaro side), so naturally, the food took a massive upgrade.
From the Jamon Serrano to the various cheeses to the 2 huge slabs of Roast Beef to the pastas to the endless Häagen-Dazs and free-flowing wine and champagne, I didn’t know where to begin and when to end. As a result, I only have a few photos to show for it. In fact, most of them were taken when there was no food around.
Of course, as the night wore down, our attention turned to the star of our gatherings, Pilar.

You always liked to hide in the shadows and sneak up behind me. You would get such a laugh out of seeing me scream like a little girl. I would always get mad… then cry from all the laughter. I miss those days.
