Tat day
It wasn’t my tat day, but Kan’s. No photos of her tattoo, as I don’t wanna preempt her induction into the skin art circle. Instead, here are a few photos taken pre-ink+skin.

Sometimes, it’s a matter of differing points of view. You may not necessarily agree with what I see or believe. But at least give me enough respect to listen to what I have to say.
I’m with him
I need a holiday. I saw this figurine in Jay‘s office, and I thought to myself, wouldn’t it be great to just take off and leave…

Your apathy and silent acquiescence baffles me. Actually it bothers me. How can someone so full of passion stand on the side, while this happens? Has their bullshit gotten to you, that you have actually adapted to them?

You said you would always be there no matter what — that you’d be a shoulder to cry on, someone to listen to my problems. But when I did need you, you were nowhere to be found. Funny how some things don’t pan out.

You’ve got some strange habits. And I’ve never quite gotten used to them. Maybe it’s a guy thing. Or maybe it’s your girl thing. Who knows.
Photo of the Day [POTD]: beneath the surface

You know it’s all superficial, right? It won’t last. Don’t get too comfortable up on your high horse.
Photo of the Day [POTD]: your arrogance

Sometimes, I can’t stand the conformity and the bullshit. Why do you wanna box me into a certain type. I’m not you’re typical square peg that you can just jam into a perfectly molded, round hole.
Photo of the Day [POTD]: tunnel vision

You always had that grit and determination. If you put your mind to something, nothing could ever distract you. Of course, it did get annoying at times.

I’m gonna slip on my flip flops and take off. I’ve been itching for a vacation. And I finally have the time.

You often see me staring up at the sky, or scouring the ground for nothing in particular. But sometimes, something catches my eye… and it makes all the daydreaming worth it.
Panasonic Lumix GF1
Over the past few months (or perhaps even the past year and change), I have noticed a shift of preference for a lot of photographers — mostly enthusiasts and semi-pro shooters, myself included. Whereas a couple of years ago, my trusty, yet aging DSLR would always be by my side (or on my back along with a lot of other gear), I now find myself sporting a much smaller case… and, naturally, a much more compact piece of equipment to go with it — my Lumix LX3. Of course, with a smaller camera, there are more limitations, but I felt that it didn’t seem necessary to bring my bulky DSLR to drinking sessions or small get togethers. Besides, with the Panasonic range of compact cams, you get a piece of equipment that acts like an SLR minus a lot of the weight and size.
Of course, with this compact camera renaissance, there is bound to be a lot of tinkering and toying for improvement. And today, Panasonic announced the launching of its newest baby, the Lumix DMC-GF1.
While I haven’t gotten my hands on this little bad-boy for a test run, I’m pretty positive that it will perform just as well as the LX3, if not better. For the meantime, here are a few photos I have dug up:

Chiz bobble head
I have always found collectibles cool, and ever since I was a kid, I admired the collections of other people. I, myself, have not gotten into the hobby, as it’s a bit expensive and really serves no practical use. of course, I have on occasions, purchased a few toys out of whim (like my Beatles Yellow Submarine set), but they were the exceptions, rather than the rule.
And this new bobble head of Chiz (Escudero) is not mine. I just couldn’t pass up the opportunity for the photo op.

Can you see it?
No?
Look beyond the obvious. Step beyond the ordinary.
Seek out the beauty in the mundane.
Everything appears more pleasing that way.
Hi-5 Blogger Event
A few hours ago, I had the pleasure of meeting 5 energetic Australian performers — Casey, Tim, Lauren, Stevie and Fil-Aussie Fely — otherwise known as Hi-5. And, unexpectedly, I can now truly say that I am a fan.

Vibrant, bubbly, lively, vigorous and colorfully dressed are some adjectives you could use to describe the quintet… but that would be an understatement. As through the course of the informal interview, we got to know them as a group and quickly realized that their energy is simply overflowing and infectious. Tim mentioned that they feed off the energy of the crowds they perform for… but on this evening, it was on reverse, and I witnessed what made these five performers appealing to toddlers, young ones and kids of all ages — their zest for life.

office space
I’ve been itching to take photos for the past few days, but I’ve been going out to a lot of meetings and been doing a lot of research in the office. As a result, my itchy trigger finger has remained unscratched. But today, I decided to look for common things around the office to shoot.
… and here are the results…
Photo of the Day [POTD]: indecision

I feel like you give me no options — no say. Does everything have to be an ultimatum with you? Yes or no, now or later. Is there no middle ground when we talk?
Photo of the Day [POTD]: release

I know you get irked when I do that… but that’s my way of letting off steam.
