Tronix Photo equipment: free use

I stumbled across something interesting in my mailbox tonight: free use of photo equipment from Tronix. Of course, I had never heard of this brand, before clicking on the unread email. But then again, I have never been one to really study on photo equipment, apart from cameras and lenses, so I can be counted among the ignorant.

In the mail, the ad said you can make use of their Explorer XT (a portable power supply for studio flash), Air Blower, Battery operated fog/smoke machine and .Studio Flash (1 Hensel, 1 Profoto, 1 EL BXRI, 1 EL Dlite 4).

Of course, the use of the equipment doesn’t come without a catch — albeit a simple request. In exchange for the free use of the equipment, Tronix requests that they be provided access to document your shoot (via video), as well as use of a few images captured from the said shoot. A fair trade, if you ask me.

And for the extremely particular photographer, they even protect your interest by stating that “For ad campaign shoots or magazine shoots, we can post the images/videos after ad launching or magazine release date”.
