Photo of the Day [POTD]: tangle

Stumbling and suffering thought the ordeal, the cuts and bruises you receive from the adventure make you stronger.
Photo of the Day [POTD]: the way things work
I don’t have all the answers to your questions. Sometimes, it can be more fulfilling if you get to the bottom of things yourself.

Today, while sipping some coffee in Starbucks, I decided to experiment with taking photos through glass, using the Hipstamatic app. After fiddling with some of the settings and clicking away, the result was abit of double exposure. Here are the photos…

Open your eyes and tell me what you see. It must be exciting to see something new, for the very first time.

It’s a comfortable place, in you arms — sort of like the garden we used to play in, as kids. Except now, the games we play are different.
Photo of the Day [POTD]: broken

Used and discarded — forgotten like an old toy. There I lie, waiting until someone finds me useful again.

A couple of snaps I took yesterday. With this new Hipstamatic app, I just wanna grab my phone all the time.

Is there any greater bliss than being ignorant of the lie that you are trapped in — believing every single detail and idiosyncratic nuance.

You’re a funny creature — so set in your beliefs, never allowing any change to take place.
Photo of the Day [POTD]: all day, everyday

Some would consider it a bad habit. Others would just ignore it. But you, you gotta bitch about it incessantly. Relax; I got a handle on it.

The lines drawn between us were set by you. It would be hard to break them down. But I’m willing to give it a go.
new Hipstamatic samples
Hipstamatic
iPhone owners and Toy Camera fans, here’s a new reason to celebrate: Synthetic Corp’s new Hipstamatic application. Bringing back the look, feel, fun and unpredictability of the old school fantastic plastic machines, Hipstamatic merges the digital world of photography with the analogous realm of capturing images. And to make things more fun, with the swipe of a finger, you can even change your lenses, add gel filters for your flash and experiment with your film of choice… and get instant results.
Here are a few samples I took today.
[Lens: Kaimal Mark II | Film: Ina's 1969 | Flash: Berry Pop]
[Lens: Roboto Glitter | Film: Kodot Verichrome | Flash: Off]
[Lens: Lucifer VI | Film: BlacKeys B+W | Flash: RedEye Gel]
[Lens: Roboto Glitter | Film: Kodot Verichrome | Flash: RedEye Gel]
For $1.99, this application is a steal. You get a starter pack of the John S Lens, the Jimmy Lens, the Standard Flash, Ina’s 1969 Film, and Kodot Verichrome Film. And for an additional $0.99, you can purchase some of the booster packs which contain more lenses, flashes and film.
All in all, you spend less than $5.00 for a kick-ass camera application with an old-school feel in this digital age. I would definitely recommend this app for photography fans.

The bright lights of the big city are a bit intimidating, I know… but you have to face your fears if you wanna get anywhere.

Hey eighteen. It took a while for you to get here, but the wait was well worth it. Steely Dan may have waited a year more, but I’m not prepared to do so.
Photo of the Day [POTD]: memento

Sometimes we get caught up with our own doings that we fail to realize that the bad guy is actually standing in our shoes.
Photo of the Day [POTD]: gears of war

Churning and cranking, your brain plays out every single move that I could possibly make. Fine, I apologize. It was my fault. Let’s not do anything too hasty.
Photo of the Day [POTD]: stellar

On a night like this, you know magical things are meant to happen. Everything will fall into place. It’s all meant to be.

You don’t really get it do you? That’s okay, neither do I. But like they say, it’s just a matter of opinion. You see what you want to see.
