painting fun

After watching Alice In Wonderland with the kiddos at Trinoma, we headed over to go home… but not before painting time.

throwback

So while hanging out in Valenzuela, the kids decided to put down the iPhones and the PSPs and the PS2 and decided to go old school. Or maybe it was because of the fact that they were also “grounded” from using the tech stuff lest they become junkies (it’s probably too late).

So as a form of entertainment, they decided to play Piko (or ehem, Hopscotch, as they prefer to call it).

Over the weekend, I took a few Hipsta photos of Wishi. Here are a few…

ending the year

Aside from all the parties and drinking sessions, this extended vacation has been quite a busy few days. And although work is taking a back seat at the moment, some of the events that have transpired can just tire you out… but in a good way.

Here are a few shots from my phone cam…

[baby thea just waking up]

[(ba)thor still asleep]

One stop was City Kart racing where Sean celebrated his 9th birthday with a few laps around the track.

[at city kart, posing by the podium]

[allana and her foxy ears and loose tooth]

And as it had been put off for quite a while, the kiddos were due for a visit to their dentist, Tita Mau.

[getting ready for the tooth extraction]

Of course, we couldn’t miss Peachy‘s 30th over at KFC, so we hopped over for a quick celebration.

We also drove over to C’ Italian restaurant for a quick bite and great Italian fare.

And hopped over to Dimasalang to check out some flowers.

weekend with the kiddos

This weekend was choc-ful of events and things to do. It even extended onto Monday, as Anshel got an asthma attack. As I didn’t have my cam, I used my cellphone to capture most of the happenings that transpired over the weekend.

[all made up -- anshel and allana got dressed up for their friend's 7th birthday party. anshel was part of the 7 roses]

[the aftermath -- after a weekend of partying ^_^, anshel got hit with an asthma attack. so here he is at the St. Lukes emergency room using a nebulizer]

[kan and anshel]

[missing tooth -- while hanging out in the emergency room, anshel was fiddling with his loose tooth... which eventually came off. see that spot?]

Bay with the femoly

Last Saturday, we brought the kiddos over to Tita Cheche’s Bay Palace for some trampoline fun, lots of food and swimming. Here are a few photos from the day…

Manila Ocean Park

I finally got a chance to hit Manila Ocean Park today with the kiddos. But as luck would have it, I had left my camera on from previous use. As such, it had no juice left… so I had to shoot with my cellphone.

Here are a few select shots from today…

[can't remember the name of the fish...]

[ginormous crab]

[cool lit up seats]

[the kids getting a fish spa]

trampoline fun

Spent Halloween in Marina and went over to Alabang for dinner.

The kids didn’t seem too ht on trick or treating (probably jaded from all the years of candy)… but the trampoline seemed to be a highlight.

Here are a few photos… with Pilar in the mix.

Hongkong holiday

Hongkong was a blast. Very tiring and extremely humid, but fun, nonetheless.

It’s a bit funny, now that I look back on it, that I almost didn’t make it. My passport wasn’t due to be released until the 23rd (our departure was on the 18th)… but I managed to find a way, thankfully. I would have missed out on the sights, sounds, smells and tastes of Hongkong.

Our first day was really about exploring the are and getting our act together — i.e. planning what to do, finding a place to stay, getting the best exchange rate, etc. So after burning the free phone lines to book a hotel, accidentally getting a cheap fare into the city and stumbling across a good eatery, things seemed to be falling into place.

On day two, I had to go see my dad’s banker to sign some papers. I separated from the rest to find one of the Citi banking centers in Mong Kok, while the rest took the MTR over to Hongkong Disneyland. Naturally, after performing my familial duties, I rushed over to the theme park.

As it rained that day, the adult attractions like Space Mountain were closed. Since we were with the kids, it didn’t really matter anyway. One cool thing of note (and something I didn’t notice in the LA Disneyland) was the Filipino section of the It’s a Small World attraction.

On day three, we went to see Buddha… in the Ngong Ping 360 (cable car) and walking tour.

Day four, we said goodbye to Hongkong and all it’s attractions. Hopefully, we’l be able to make it back.

bugs need love too

As I was playing with the kiddos, searching for some beetles to take home, we stumbled upon some undeniable proof that bugs need love too…

birthday weekend

This weekend, I celebrated my 30th birthday. It also coincided with a visit to Punta Fuego in the residence of my fiancées relatives as well as good old Fanny Lane in Tagaytay. Naturally, there was a lot of food… and I ended up stuffing my face, especially with sweets and other junk food.

Here are a few photos…

Now to hit the gym.
